Leather Notebook Transferring Instructions
Please read these instructions completely before you begin.

Supplies Needed
• Sublimatable Leather Notebook
• EZ-Trans Paper
• Heat Resistant Tape
Step 1: Adjust the Heat Press
Heat Press Temperature: 400o F
Dwell Time: 45 seconds
Pressure: Medium-Firm
Note: These instructions, including transfer times and temperatures, are based on the inks, paper, equipment, and supplies we use. Your inks, papers, etc. may require adjustments in your time/temp settings.
Step 2: Design Your Transfer
Design your transfer in the usual manner. Images should be mirrored when the transfer is printed. Design templates for the leather notebook are available at laserreproductions.com via their product page.

Step 3: Transfer the Image

1. Register your leather notebook with the transfer. Use 1-2 small strips of heat resistant tape to hold the leather notebook in registration.

2. Place the leather notebook on the press with the transfer on top.
NOTE: In order to ensure correct pressure and avoid damaging the notebook, only the sublimatable cover should be placed on the press bed.

3. Do not press the heat platen onto the black edge of the cover! To avoid marring or scorching the black cover with the heat press, you can lay down a protective layer of chip board or cardboard or even a heavy fabric, like sweat shirt material. Line the material up right along the edge of the black suede.

4. Using medium to firm pressure, press at 400o F for 45 seconds.
