Transferring Instructions
Read these instructions completely before you begin.
Supplies Needed
· Sublimatable Dog Tags
· Sublimation transfer
· Felt Pad on heat press bed
· Heat Gloves
· Heat Resistant Tape (optional)
Step 1: Adjust Heat Press
Heat Press Temperature: 400 o F
Dwell Time:45 seconds
Pressure: firm

Note: These instructions, including transfer times and temperatures, are based on the inks, paper,
presses, and products we use. Your inks, papers, etc. may require adjustments in your time/temp settings.

Step 2: Design & Print Your Transfer
Be sure to REVERSE THE IMAGE. Design your transfer based on our templates. You can
download templates from http://www.laserreproductions.com/DesignTemplates.html If you are
designing a full bleed image without our templates, we recommend designing the transfer so
that it is at least 1/8” larger than the Dog Tag all the way around.

Step 3: Transferring the Image
3. a: One sided Dog Tag
1. Place your transfer faceup
on the heat press.

2. Place Dog Tag facedown
on the transfer and tape to hold it in place.

3. Using Firm pressure, press at 400 o F, for 45 seconds.

4a. if printing the second side of the Large Dog Tag, you can do it simultaneously by using spray adhesive as you can’t tape it since the tape may get in the way. You will need to use a piece of our 1/16th” thermal rubber mat to place on the top of the Dog Tag to get a complete contact with the surface of the Dog Tag. Then press at 3 minutes time and same temperature.
4b. Or you can press one side then let cool and press the second side with the same time and temperature.
