Sublimation Blank Red-Green Towels

Towel Transferring Instructions
Please read these instructions completely before you begin.

Supplies Needed
• Sublimatable Towel
• EZ-Trans Paper
• Repositionable Adhesive Spray

Step 1: Adjust the Heat Press
Heat Press Temperature: 400o F
Dwell Time: 45 seconds
Pressure: Medium-Firm
Note: These instructions, including transfer times and temperatures, are based on the inks, paper, equipment, and supplies we use. Your inks, papers, etc. may require adjustments in your time/temp settings.
Step 2: Design Your Transfer
Design your transfer in the usual manner. Images should be mirrored when the transfer is printed.

Step 3: Transfer the Image

1. Register your towel with the transfer(s). If your heat press is not big enough to press an entire towel at once, you can press the towel in two parts. Use a repositionable adhesive spray on your transfer(s) to prevent the image shifting when pressing the second half.

2. Place towel face up/transfer face down on the heat press.

3. Using medium to firm pressure, press at 400o F for 45 seconds.


SECOND PRESSING APPROACH TO PRESSING TOWELS

You can press the towel with the transfer face up on the heat press and the towel taped at the 4 corners over the transfer paper. In this case pressing time increases to 1 minute dwell time. Be sure to place a clean sheet of blank newsprint (thin) paper over the entire towel to keep it clean.
